Brief Details About Osun State
The state name was gotten from the river Osun and the state was created on the 27th of August 1991 out of Oyo State by the administration of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, the capital of the state is Osogbo.
The major tribe in the state is the Yoruba tribe and it is well known as a place for agriculture and a lot of other beautiful stuff.
It is located in the south-western part of the country and it is bounded by Kwara state in the north, Ekiti state and Ondo state in the east, Oyo state in the west, and Ogun state in the south.
