NECO Syllabus for Information and Communication Technology (Elective)
The NECO Syllabus for Information and Communication Technology (Elective) is meant for students that would take this subject in their exam. they would find topics in it that they have to study. Also, as said earlier, objectives are in each of the topics that students would have to study and also meet.
Note: The National Examination Council (NECO) did not release any official syllabus for the upcoming examination. This is because NECO doesnโt have any syllabus. But students can use the WAEC (West African Examination Council) to prepare for their examination. The reason for this is that NECO uses WAEC standards to set their questions.
There will be three papers, Papers 1, 2, and 3 all of which must be taken. Papers 1 and 2 will be a composite paper to be taken in a sitting. The list below contains the papers
- PAPER 1: Will consist of fifty multiple-choice objective questions all of which must be answered within 1 hour for 25 marks.
- PAPER 2: This Will consist of five essay-type questions. Candidates will be required to answer three questions within 1 hour for 30 marks.
- PAPER 3: This Will be a practical test consisting of three questions all of which must be answered within 2 hours, for 45 marks.
