Igbinedion Undergraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

Igbinedion Full-Time Undergraduate Admission Requirements 2024
To gain Admission into Igbinedion University Undergraduate Program, Candidates must fulfil the following requirements;
- Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificate.
- SSCE results must include English language and Mathematics, with at most two sittings.
- Candidates must have passed the recently conducted UTME with a cutoff mark of at least 180.
- Also, Success at the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the school.
Once all requirements are met, candidates may apply to the full-time undergraduate program at Igbinedion University.
Additionally, To study Law, you must possess at least a credit pass in Literature in English.
JAMB Admission Requirements
Applicant candidates must sit for UTME and obtain the prescribed cutoff marks. The General Cutoff mark to study at IOU is 180, While some courses require a higher cutoff;

- The Cut off-mark for Engineering Courses in IUO is 220

- Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificate.
- Secondly, SSCE results must include English language and Mathematics, with at most two sittings.
- Candidates must apply for a diploma form and pay a non-refundable fee the school requires.
- Admission of Direct Entry candidates is, however, subject to Success at the Post UTME screening exercise conducted by the admitting college.
Inter-University Transfer Degree Admission Requirements
For students seeking transfer from another institution to Igbinedion University, Okada, an official copy of an Academic Transcript is required, a JAMB transfer form duly signed by the present University, mailed to the Registrar, Igbinedion University, Okada, Ovia North-East LGA, or email to registrar@iuokada.edu.ng
Igbinedion University Part-Time Undergraduate Degree Admission Requirements

Igbinedion Full-Time Postgraduate Admission Eligibility 2024
These are the general minimum requirements to gain Admission into Igbinedion University for any postgraduate program.
- Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificate.
- SSCE results must include English language and Mathematics, with at most two sittings.
- Also, Only students with the NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate can be cleared into the different courses.
- Candidates must have their transcripts.
- Minimum of passing Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit.
- Candidates should print out the referee forms provided on the application page, fill and return them directly to the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies.
Additionally, for the following courses;
- –MSc Nursing:
- Candidates Must be Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Must possess a valid Midwifery Council of Nigeria license -PGD
- Nursing (PGDN):
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Midwife (RM)
- Must have a first Bachelor’s degree in related health subjects, e.g. Psychology, Nutrition, etc.
- Computer Science:
- Also, Applicants with a degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, BSc.(Ed) in Computer will also be considered.
- Physiology:
- Applicants with a B.Sc. degree, wherein Physiology was a part of the courses taught, shall be duly considered.
Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate

- A Candidate for Postgraduate Studies at Igbinedion University must have obtained at least five (5) credits in WASC, NECO, or GCE (ordinary level or their equivalents).
