Hairspray is a 2007 film that is more of an adaption of the Broadway musical Hairspray. Which was originally a subversive comedy film turned Broadway musical. Tracy Turnblad, a teen, aspires to dance on a local TV show. Where many of her classmates participate, but she gets turned down owing to her weight.

She gets detention for skipping class to audition, but she meets other kids who are only permitted on the show on ‘Negro days’. They quickly become friends. Tracy fights throughout the film to get rid of the biased studio head and allow the show to grow.

The film is a quotable fantasy action-adventure film about two immortal rivals at the end of a seemingly endless fight. When Connor MacLeod wakes up after getting a mortal wound in the midst of the 16th century. He is expelled from his tribe. He is soon discovered by an immortal swordsman.
