The Zamfara State University Academic Calendar for First Semester 2022/2023 Session is;
- Registration of New Students – Monday 2 January to Saturday 28 January, 2023
- Registration of Returning Students – Monday 16 January to Saturday 28th January, 2023
- Beginning of 1st Semester Lectures 2023 – Monday 30 January to Saturday 18th February 2023
- General Elections Break -Monday 20 February to Saturday 4th March, 2023
- Continuation of First Semester Lectures – Monday 6 March to Saturday 10 June, 2023
- 1st Semester Examinations – Monday 12th June to Saturday 24th June, 2023
- 1st Semester Break Marking of Examinations – Monday 25 June to Sunday 30th July 2023

The Zamfara State University Academic Calendar for Second Semester 2022/2023 Session is;
- Lectures – Monday 31 July to Saturday 14th October, 2023.
- 2nd Semester Examinations – Monday 16 October to Saturday 2 November 2023.
- 2nd Semester Break, Marking of 4 Weeks Examinations, Moderation and Submission of Results and Approval by the University Senate – Monday 4th November to Saturday 4th January 2024.
- Beginning of 2023/2024 Academic Session – Monday 7th January 2024
