Program Details

Since its founding in 1999, the World Youth Alliance has developed language, policy and program alternatives that refute powerful ideological assumptions, courageously articulating a vision rooted in the intrinsic dignity of the human person.

Membership

Membership is for everyone between the ages of 10 and 30 who agree to the principles of the WYA charter. WYA members live these values in their communities and schools, standing for the dignity of every human person, from conception to natural death, around the world.

Certified Training Program

The Certified Training Program (CTP) is an introduction to the ideas at the heart of WYA. The program examines issues relating to human dignity, freedom, solidarity, culture and contemporary global issues and human rights.

Advocacy Academy

The Advocacy Academy examines pressing global issues central to our work. Studying international law, research data and best practice, the Advocacy Academy scrutinizes policy on issues such as reproductive rights and maternal health, family planning, HIV/AIDS, sustainable development and population control.

Eligibility

  • Participants must be below the age of 30 years to ensure the program focuses on engaging and empowering young individuals.
  • Applicants should demonstrate a sincere interest in understanding and promoting concepts of human dignity. This includes a willingness to learn, engage in discussion, and actively contribute to activities related to human dignity.
  • Participants must also have access to the Internet. This is essential for engaging in online discussions, accessing program materials, and participating in virtual meetings.
  • The participant should be dedicated to their own personal growth and development, striving to enhance their understanding of human dignity principles and applying them in their daily lives.
  • Must be fluent in English
