In March 2020, a deadly virus known as COVID 19 surfaced and was fast spreading across the world which resulted in the closure of all activities which includes academic, business and likewise to safeguard the lives of people.
The Virus is now resurfacing and as such the management of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic Birnin Kebbi (WUFPBK) has released a notice to re-enforce all COVID 19 guidelines as stated by NCDC. The Polytechnic students, staff, residents and the general public are hereby notified by the Polytechnic Central Task Force Committee that all NCDC guidelines on COVID 19 pandemic are now imperative and must strictly be observed.
The underlisted must be observed by the students, staff, permanent residents of the polytechnic as well as the general public henceforth to avoid negative unforeseen circumstances:
- Compulsory wearing of face masks. No face masks, no entry into the polytechnic premises, quarters, hostels/offices etc.
- Any student without facemask will not be allowed to attend lectures.
