About Women Techsters Fellowship Program 2024
women as well as ensuring equal access to opportunities for all. We are empowering girls and women across Africa with varying degrees of digital, deep tech and soft skills required within the technology ecosystem.
Our objective is to grow and support an army of tech empowered girls and women across Africa who will have equal access to decent job opportunities as well as build and scale their ideas into tech-enabled businesses and deep tech startups, which will aid Africa’s economic growth.
Program Details
The training is virtual (Instructor-led) virtual instructor-led training (VILT) is a type of remote training delivered through an online platform with an instructor leading the session in real-time. Participants join the session from their own devices, enabling real-time interaction, group discussions, and activities
Available courses: Product Design, Product Management, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence, Software Development, 3D animation & Mixed reality (AR & VR), Mobile Development.

Definitely. The Women Techsters Fellowship is an all-encompassing training. In addition to the technical training, beneficiaries are also trained in soft skills that equip them with the necessary skills to thrive in the tech ecosystem.
They are also given access to the Women Techsters Community of diverse yet like-minded women across Africa and presented with mentorship opportunities with industry experts.

The fellowship is currently available in 22 African countries (Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, DR Congo, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Algeria, Sudan, Morocco, Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, Madagascar, Botswana, Gambia, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra-Leone, Zambia, Zimbabwe)
