This body was established in the year 1977 by the federal government of Nigeria. The full meaning of NBTE is “National Board for Technical Education” and it headquarter is located in Kaduna State Nigeria.

NBTE vision is to be a world-class regulatory body for the promotion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Nigeria. One purpose of establishing this body is to provide enough technical institution in the country. The body has a lot of objectives and one of them is to streamline and strengthen the machinery for educational development in the country.

What You Need to Know About River State

On the 27th of May 1967, River state was created on the formal administration of General Yakubu Gowon. Rivers State is located in the southern part of Nigeria, its capital is Port Harcourt and there are 23 local government areas in the state. The state is mostly dominated by the Igbo tribe.

Admission Requirements

In Vocational Enterprise Institutions the JAMB (joint Admission and matriculation Board) examination is not compulsory. To apply for these schools, candidates are supposed to have five credits in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or in NECO (National Examination Council). Mathematics and English Language are compulsory in these schools.
