NBTE was established by the federal government of Nigeria in the year 1977, its full meaning is National Board for Technical Education. What You Need to Know About Imo State

Imo State is located in the southeast region of Nigeria and was created on the 3rd of February 1976 by the formal administration of Murtala Muhammad. The capital of the state is Owerri and there are 27 local government areas in Imo State. There are currently six universities available in Imo state and they are one federal, two state and three private universities.

There are a lot of tribes in the State but the major dominating tribe is the Igbo language that is the state consists of more Igbo people. Imo State is known to be an agricultural state as there produce a lot of agricultural products like Yam, Corn, cassava and a lot more. The state is bordered by delta State and River Niger to the west, Rivers State to the South, Anambra State to the North and Abia state to the east.

Admission Requirement

The JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) examination is not needed for these institutions. Five credits are needed in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or in NECO (National Examination Council). Mathematics and English Language must be among the subject in WAEC or NECO.
