On the 27th of August 1991, Ibrahim Babangida created Enugu State from the old Anambra State. Admission Requirement
Five credits are needed in WAEC (West African Examination Council) or in NECO (National Examination Council). The subject in WAEC or NECO must include Mathematics and English Language as these two subjects are compulsory. The JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) examination is not compulsory for most of these schools.
