Admission Information and Requirements

General Information

The following below are the general information and requirement for anybody applying for this programme:

  • Candidates are expected to score a minimum of 180 in the just concluded University Joint Matriculation Exam (UTME).
  • Candidates should have their WASSCE (WAEC, NECO/GCE) or their equivalent with a minimum of 5 credits including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates applying for undergraduate programmes must satisfy all the academic requirements specified in the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board as per the course of choice.
  • Candidates are expected to undergo the University of Uyo screening exercise.

Direct Entry Candidates

Below is a little piece of information for the Direct Entry candidates:

  • Candidates are expected to have at least two (2) A ‘Level papers, National Certificate in Admission (NCE), National Diploma or an equivalent University Diploma including WASSCE with 5 Credit passes including Mathematics and English language.
  • Candidates must attach photocopies of their UTME slips for 2020/2021
  • Candidates are also expected to submit photocopies of the following documents in a big envelope to the office of the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo:
  1. All necessary credentials that qualify you for Direct Entry (UTME slip and O’ Level certificate included).
  2. Candidates should also prepare for the University of Uyo qualification exercise.

Hard copies of all credentials should be submitted to the Office of the Administrative Secretary, School of Continuing Education and Professional Studies, University of Uyo, Uyo.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Seven Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (#7,500.00) only through Remita Payment.

  1. All potential candidates should visit UNIUYO e-portal link here
  2. Navigate to the sidebar and select Admission forms
  3. Select/click on e-Form(s) option
  4. Select Admission Type
  5. Enter your phone number, Name, and Email in the fields provided
  6. Select/click MAKE PAYMENT to make payment. Payment can be done via Remita or from Bank branches.
  7. After payment, click on the REGISTER LINK and note your Login Credentials generated
  8. Log in with your credentials and complete your registration.
