About the UNIPORT Pre-Degree Programme Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is now inviting applications from all suitably qualified candidate for admission into the following degree programmes in the Faculties of Humanities and Education, for the 2020/2021 session.

Latest Update: The screening exercise for the admission into the 2020/2021 pre-degree/certificate Program has been scheduled to hold on Saturday 28th November 2020 at School of Basic Studies, University of Port Harcourt. Time: 12:00 noon. Students are expected to come along with a photocard from Purchase of form. Credentials and writing materials. Proper wearing of face mask/face shield is compulsory.

Eligibility

The programmes are available to interested applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits at maximum of two sittings in English Language and other subjects that are relevant in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants for Faculty of Education)].

Course Duration: The programmes have been scheduled to hold for a period of one year (one academic session).

How to Apply

The Application is carried out online, first, log on to http://ashgrove-cce.uniport.edu.ng, then visit the CCE menu, and then click on Application procedure after which you would follow the instructions: a fee of about Eighteen Thousand Naira only (N18,000.00), along with the bank Charges would be required. Candidates can make the payment online or at U and C Microfinance Bank LTD, Access Bank, First Bank, UBA and Fidelity Bank Nationwide.

The candidate’s names O’level Certificates is expected to be the same as filled online. Any False information entered would lead to the disqualification of the applicant.

Registration of successful candidates would be announced in due course.

Note:

To transit to the degree programme, in addition to the 5 O’level credits, the candidate is expected to:

  • Pass the prescribed Pre-degree examinations
  • Be in possession of the Appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) Subject combination and
  • Possess the National minimum score in the 2020/2021 UTME and is expected to have selected the University of Port Harcourt.
