The current pandemic known as COVID-19, which has put a big halt on a lot of things as we know it, has had a tremendous and unimaginable impact on people, companies, economies and communities at large all around the globe. A need to rise above the challenges faced due to this pandemic is a need and to this end, Union Bank of Nigeria has come up with an initiative called the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020.
The purpose of the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020 is to shine the spotlight on you, their customers, to share your stories on all you are doing to rise above this pandemic. The pandemic has driven people to be more creative, innovative, resourceful and charitable. Hence this challenge offers but the opportunity to share your story and stand a chance of winning the attached prize for the challenge.
About the Union Bank Rise Challenge for Story Tellers 2020
Entries for the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020 are now being accepted by Union Bank of Nigeria from its customers with active accounts. Every week for the next 4 weeks, 10 of the most inspiring stories will be selected to share and reward. You will receive 250,000 Naira from Union Bank if your entry or story is selected, in order to support the work you are doing to help people rise above the pandemic.
To qualify for the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020, all entries must be sent in on or before Thursdays in each week which the challenge is scheduled to last and Every Saturday, ten winners will be announced across all Union Bank of Nigeria social media pages. The announced winners will also be tagged. So, applicants are advised to keep a close eye. The eligibility requirements and how to enter Union Bank Rise Challenge will be stated below.
Eligibility Requirements and Criteria to Participate in the Programme
The challenges are open for entries however, certain requirements and criteria are to be met in order to be eligible to participate in the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020. The eligibility requirements and criteria are as follows;
- Participants must be a Union Bank customer with an account that is active during the period of submitting their entry.
- Participants should be 18 years or older
Entries are also open to small business owners and innovators. It should be noted that each participant is limited to one entry only per week. You can also let your friends know that you are participating in the Union Bank Rise Challenge in order for them to participate as well.
How to Apply
To apply for the Union Bank Rise Challenge 2020, follow the steps stated below:
- Make a short video of maximum length of 60 seconds or write a note about what you are doing to rise above this pandemic called the COVID-19 in these trying times.
- Post it on your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram feed with #UnionRiseChallenge
- Proceed to Tag @unionbankng and your friends.
