University of Jos (UNIJOS) Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

University of Jos (UNIJOS) Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

Candidates who chose the University as their first choice and scored a minimum of 180 in their UTME exams, should be henceforth aware that the screening portal of the university will be opened for online screening.

Eligibility

Below is the eligibility to apply for the Post UTME:

  • Candidates must have made the university as their first choice.
  • Must have a minimum of 180 in their UTME examination.
  • Candidates must possess five credit passes at one sitting in relevant O level subjects, Mathematics and English inclusive.
  • Candidate must be sixteen years age of age.

How to Apply for the Post UTME Form

Each candidate is expected to pay a non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000) excluding bank charges for the online screening exercise. Follow the procedure given below to enable you to register for the UTME:

  • Visit the portal of the University of Jos via https://portal.unijos.edu.ng/ for the registration process.
  • Then, click on the Programme.
  • After that, click on UTME/DE SCREENING.
  • Then, enter your JAMB registration number.
  • Click on get started, candidates will be asked to select and confirm an easy to remember password.
  • A confirmation code will automatically be sent to the candidate’s email, click on the link to continue the process.
  • Then visit portal.unijos.edu.ng.
  • Click on login to continue.
  • Enter your email and password.
  • Click on login again.
  • You will be taken to your personalised dashboard.
  • Then, click on Pay Screening Charge.
  • Select the payment option and proceed.
  • Enter the details and follow the instructions given.
  • After a successful payment, you will be taken to your dashboard.
  • Enter your five relevant O level subjects and their grades as well.
  • Then, click Finish.
  • Then you can print out the screening Registration Slip.
  • Log out and wait for further communication from the University.

Warning: All candidates are strongly advised against patronizing road side Business Centres for making payment. All payments will be verified before admission processing will take place.

Important Note: Candidates should take note of the following:

  • JAMB (Joint Admission and Matriculation Board) has specified that it would not clear any shortlisted candidate who does not possess an O level result. Candidates are advised to visit any accredited CBT centre or JAMB Office nearest to them to upload their O level results.
  • Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the guidelines stipulated above and the published requirements for admission into the programme applied for.
  • Misrepresentation of documents is a serious offence. candidates should make sure they submit genuine documents only.
  • Any candidates who fail to do the online screening will not be considered for the admission. Direct Entry candidates should follow the same procedure as UTME candidates to participate in the screening exercise.
