This is to inform the general public about the UNIBEN Part-time Admission Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. Official details about the form are given below.
Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for admission into Part-Time Degree/Diploma/Certificate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
All applications should be made between 7.00 a.m. on June 10, 2024 and 12.00 midnight on July 31, 2024. The procedure for the 2023/2024 application is as follows:
1. Visit any JAMB CBT Centre to register as a Part-Time Candidate
2. With the JAMB Registration Number obtained, visit http://www.uniben.edu.ngย Orย https://waeup.uniben.edu/
3. On the UNIBEN.EDU SITE, Select Student Portal, then the Waeup Portal.
Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process (Please note: do not use the cyber-cafeโs email).
4. Click on PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2023/2024
5. Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
6. Provide all necessary information. Note that * means compulsory fields.
7. An immediate mail will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
8. Open your mail to get the system-generated ID and password that you will use to log in.
9. On uniben.waeup.org, click on โLoginโ (top right of the front page).
10. Enter your username and password from the mail to log in.
11.To start the application process, please click on โEdit application recordโ and provide all required information and upload your passport photograph.
12. Upload a clear 1โ x 1โ COLOURED passport photograph with red background in JPEG format only. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THE SPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION AND FAILURE/FORFEITURE OF ADMISSION
13.To pay for the Application, click on โAdd online payment ticketโ at the bottom of the page, then click on โPay with Remitaโ on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial Bank.
14. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online.
15. You cannot edit your application after submission.
16. Print out the Application slip.
Note: NO APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION SHALL BE VALID THAT DOES NOT CARRY A JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER
Candidates may not need to write an Entrance Examination. However, screening will be done on the basis of candidates’ Oโ Level/JUBEP/Diploma results. Candidates should go back online two weeks after the deadline to apply for their admission status.
CLOSING DATE
The application website closes on July 31, 2024 (i.e., all applications must be concluded online no later than July 31, 2024).

To qualify for admission into the various part-time degree programmes, candidates must satisfy the stated general and specific requirements for admission.
