Accommodation is very important irrespective of your occupation or profession, whether you are a student, a civil servant or you are self-employed you still need accommodation, a place to live, a little comfortable at least and to rest. Like I said earlier, accommodation is very important that is why most, if not all universities provide accommodation for their students, today we shall be discussing the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Hostel Accommodation Guidelines.

Before we proceed on the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Hostel Accommodation Application Guidelines, let’s talk more about the accommodation provided by the school. The university does not make its accommodation on-campus mandatory for all students, that is, you can live off-campus if you want to, in fact, the accommodation provided by the school is not sufficient for all students of the school, so getting accommodation is on a first come first serve basis.

Now let’s proceed to talk about the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Hostel Accommodation Guidelines. If you are interested in the hotel accommodation for the 2019/2020 session you should take note of the guidelines we are about to give you. If you are interested in the hostel accommodation, you should pay the accommodation fee immediately the portal for payment is ready. Also, make sure that you are the one who’s going to use the accommodation given to you. If you are caught booking and transferring your allocated accommodation to another student you will be punished. You can apply for the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Hostel Accommodation for 2019/2020 with the following steps.

  1. Login to UNIBEN portal @ https://uniben.waeup.org/.
  2. Under the accommodation, select a hall of your choice.
  3. The next step is payment. Create a bed allocation ticket and proceed to payment with a valid debit card.
  4. Book a space for yourself with the activation code on your slip.
  5. After successful booking pays the maintenance fee assigned to your space.
  6. Print out all slips, they will be used for clearance into the Halls of residence.

After booking a space and you have been allocated with space, you should pay the fee before 48hrs to avoid losing the allocation. Space will be retrieved and be made available again for booking if the fee is not paid with 48hrs.
