About The UNDP/Samsung Generation17 Programme
UNDP works to address the unique and complex needs of young people and achieve the 2030 Agenda in more than 100 countries and territories, including 46 Least Developed Countries (LDCs), in five regions: Africa, Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
UNDP works with civil society partners, including youth organizations and networks, other United Nations entities and development partners to advance youth empowerment for sustainable development and peace.

In addition to its partnership with UNDP, the company joined the UN Global Compact, a specialized organization under the United Nations that aims to promote the sustainable growth of companies and society at large.

Eligibility
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Samsung Mobile are thrilled to announce the expansion of Generation17 – a joint initiative aimed at empowering young changemakers to achieve the Global Goals.
Generation17Â supports a group of inspiring young leaders ages 18 to 32 dedicated to innovating for humanity and mobilizing global communities.
