About the 2019/2020 UMYU Matriculation Ceremony
The management of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University in short “UMYU” has announced its 14th matriculation ceremony date for the 2019/2020 academic session.
We wish to give information that the matriculation ceremony as announced by the management of the institution is designed for all fresh UTME students ( 100 Level) and Direct Entry (200 Level) of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) Katsina.
The date, time, and venue for the celebration of the institution’s 14th matriculation ceremony was also announced and in consequence of the above, it is advisable for matriculating students to collect the University Academic Gowns after the stipulated payment has been made from their Faculty Officer.
14th UMYU Matriculation Ceremony Schedule
The ceremony has been scheduled by the management of the institution to hold as written below:
- Date: 27th October 2020
- Time: 9:00am
- Venue: University Auditorium
UMYU Matriculation Gown Collection Procedure
Upon successful payment of the stipulated fee of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) only at the University Micro Finance Bank, matriculating students are expected to collect the University Academic Gowns from their Faculty Officer.
Students are also advised that the gowns should be kept tidy and safe as any loss or damage will incur a refund of the cost of production of the gown. It is mandatory for all fresh students to attend the matriculation ceremony.
Latest Update
In view of the recent security concerns of the country, the Matriculation/Orientation ceremony which was stipulated to hold on 27th October 2020 has been postponed by the school management until further notice. This information was disclosed by a statement signed by the school Registrar, Mal. Nasir Bello.
The statement further conveyed that the new date for the matriculation ceremony to hold will in due course be communicated to all stakeholders. The management shares its regrets over any inconvenience that may have been caused to all individuals concerned due to the postponement of the ceremony.
