The Youth Center 2020 Annual Academic Scholarship calls for applications from interested students. The annual scholarship is a full year tuition scholarship programme offered to ten undergraduates in the university who show financial need and also a commitment to impart their communities for the greater good.
About The Youth Center 2020 Annual Academic Scholarship
The youth center academic scholarship began in 2018 with a paramount need to help empower Nigerians and students to do so much more for themselves and their communities as well by providing educational opportunities for them. The first scholarship held in 2019 resulted in 400 applications which enabled the sponsors to know about many of the dreams and aspirations of young Nigerians out there though facing great financial issues and lack of support.

Eligibility criteria
Written below are what will make you eligible for the Youth Center2020 Annual Academic Scholarship:
- Applicants must be citizens of Nigeria
- Applicants must be currently enrolled or gained admission to the University of Lagos, Akoka, University of Benin, Benin City, and University of Ilorin, Ilorin.
- Undergraduate candidates must have a minimum of 2.5 CGPA.
- Incoming undergraduate applicants must have passed all subjects in WAEC.
- Candidates must attend classes for the semester that the scholarship programme will cover.
- Applicants must follow the instructions given in the online application form.
- The scholarship programme is meant only for applicants with at least one year left before their graduation.
Applicants should be aware that the finalists will be contacted to verify their academic results and any incorrect information will remove applicants from further consideration.
How to apply
The donors and volunteers of the scholarship this year have raised over $2,000 for the annual scholarships. The organizers are looking forward to investing in the fund in young people of Nigeria.
