The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) was set up by the federal government of Nigeria in the year 1977. What You Need to Know About Ondo State
Ondo State was created on the 3rd of February 1976 from the formal western state and it can be found in the southwestern part of Nigeria. It has eighteen local government areas and its capital is Akure. Seven universities are in the state and they are one federal, three state and three private universities.
Ondo State shares borders with Kogi State to the northeast, Osun State to the northwest, Ekiti State to the north. Edo State to the east, the Atlantic Ocean to the south and Delta State to the southwest. The predominant tribe in the state is the Yoruba Language.
