Tansian University is a private fee-paying institution and as such all students (both newly admitted and returning students) are expected to pay prescribed fees for all the services the university will provide.

Tansian University is a private Christian university founded by Rev Prof John Bosco Akam and it is located in Umumya, Oyi Local Government Area of Anambra State in Nigeria. The University has a branch campus in Oba and it is officially recognized by the National Universities Commission of Nigeria.

The university offers officially recognized higher education degrees (certificates, diplomas, associate, or foundation). The university also accepts International applicants.

To be considered a bonafide student of the university:

  • Students will have to show evidence of payment as it is compulsory.
  • Students are to pay prescribed fees on a sessional basis for both full-time and part-time programmes.
  • Students are to make payment to the designated banks in accounts payable to Tansian University, Umunya.
  • The students will be issued receipts for all the payments made.
  • On full payment of stipulated fees for each session, clearance cards shall be issued to students.
  • For the duration of his/her course of study in the university, each student will be allotted a ledger account that contains the student’s financial transaction.
  • Only at the end of the studies will request for excess payments by students be entertained.
