Program Details

The NGO Fellowship Program is a one-month-long opportunity for NGO professionals from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia (including Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia) to gain first-hand experience in the Taiwanese NGO sector.

The Program includes workshops, a three-week NGO placement, and roundtable events with the fellows’ Taiwanese counterparts.

Key Program Features:

– NGO Placement:

The fellows will be placed in Taiwan’s NGO according to their professional backgrounds. The host NGOs will welcome the fellows for three weeks, where they will be able to engage in daily operations to get to know Taiwanese NGOs. Depending on the nature of the NGOs, fellows will engage in diverse activities, such as event preparation, project management, or fundraising activities.

– Workshop:

The fellows will attend a four-day workshop at the start of the program. The workshop aims to deepen the fellows’ knowledge of NGOs

– Roundtable event:

The fellows will join a roundtable event during the program. The fellows and the Taiwanese NGO professionals will have the opportunity to share their practical experiences and observations in the field.
