The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) was set up by the federal government of Nigeria in the year 1977. NBTE is the body that supervises, accredit and regulate the affairs of all technical institutions. Adamawa State was created on the 27th of August 1991. one of the known founders of the state is Modibbo Adama.
