Southwestern University management has released the newly adjusted and approved academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session. All students of the institution mentioned earlier are to ensure they take note of the new academic calendar given below.

FALL 2023

  • August 19 Saturday New students arrive on campus
    21 Monday First-Year and Advanced-Entry Seminar classes begin.
    28 Monday Classes Begin
  • September 4 Monday SU closed โ€“ no classes
    5 Tuesday Last day to register late
    7 Thursday Last day to add courses
  • October 4 Wednesday Last day to drop courses without record entry or change to/from P/D/F, audit
    6 Friday Application for Diploma due: Fall candidates
    6 Friday Fall break begins at 10 p.m. (October 9 – 10)
    11 Wednesday Classes resume at 8 a.m.
    31 Tuesday SUnity Day โ€“ no classes
  • November 6 Monday Last day to drop courses
    22-24 Wed โ€“ Fri SU closed โ€“ no classes
    27 Monday Classes resume at 8 a.m.
  • December 8 Friday Last day of classes

  • April 2 Tuesday Last day to drop courses
    16 Tuesday Spring Research and Creative Works Symposium (No Classes)
