SAU Undergraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

If you have been waiting on the Samuel Adegboyega University (SAU) admission process for 2024/2025, Listed below are the undergraduate programs they offer and the minimum requirements for each program. General requirements for the undergraduate admission process;

All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents at not more than two sittings.
All applicants must go through the Glorious Vision University Screening Exercise.
All participants must be at least at the age of 16.

SAU Full-Time Undergraduate Requirements 2024/2025

To gain Admission into Samuel Adegboyega University’s (SAU) full-time undergraduate degree Program, Candidates must fulfil the following requirements;

All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents at not more than two sittings.
All participants must have passed the recently conducted UTME with a cut-off mark of at least 160.
Success at the post-UTME screening exercise conducted by the school.

JAMB Admission Requirements

Admission is open to candidates who wrote the recently conducted Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Applicants must complete the online Application Form by visiting the Samuel Adegboyega University (SAU) Admission Portal.
All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents at not more than two sittings.
Candidates awaiting results in (b) above may also apply.
All applicants must undergo the Samuel Adegboyega University (SAU) Screening Exercise.
Candidates who wrote the 2023 UTME but did not choose Samuel Adegboyega University as their First/Second Choice can apply by changing their choice of University/Course of Study to Samuel Adegboyega University as follows:

Direct-Entry Admission Requirements

All Direct Entry applicant(s) are required to purchase and process the 2023 JAMB Direct Entry Form. Glorious Vision University accepts the following for Direct Entry Admission into 200 Level:

A minimum Merit pass in NCE, JUBEP, Credit in OND/HND or a University degree in a relevant discipline.
All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents at not more than two sittings.
The Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB), Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB), or A’ Level moderated School of Basic Studies at acceptable grade levels.
In addition to a University degree/NCE/ND/HND/IJMB/JUPEB or two Advanced Level papers specified by each Faculty or Programme, Applicant(s) must also satisfy the O’ level requirements.
Any other qualification as approved by the Samuel Adegboyega University Senate.

Inter-University Transfer Degree Admission Requirements

Applicant(s) will be allowed to transfer from other NUC accredited Universities to Samuel Adegboyega University, provided they meet the following SAU Degree Admission Requirements;

Purchase the application code and complete the prescribed Glorious Vision University Inter-University Transfer application Form online.
Pass interview/Screening conducted by Samuel Adegboyega University.
Hold the minimum entry requirements for admission into Samuel Adegboyega University.
Hold a JAMB admission letter to your current University.
Ensure that the transcript of their academic records is received in the Admissions Office of Glorious Vision University.
Have a C.G.P.A. of at least 1.5.

SAU Part-Time Degree Admission Requirements 2024/2025

These are the general minimum requirements to gain Admission into Samuel Adegboyega University for a part-time undergraduate degree;

Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/GCE, NECO, or NABTEB certificate. More importantly, results must include English Language and Mathematics.
Candidate must apply for the Part-Time degree and pay a non-refundable fee of the school requirement.

SAU Postgraduate Admission Requirements 2024/2025

If you have been waiting for the Samuel Adegboyega University admission process for the 2024/2025 academic session, below are their postgraduate programs and their respective minimum requirements. The following general requirements must be met;

All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
Minimum of passing Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN.

SAU Full-Time Postgraduate Degree Eligibility 2024/2025

These are the general minimum requirements to gain Admission into Igbinedion University for any postgraduate program;

Firstly, All applicants must meet the Departmental minimum entry requirement of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at GCE O’ Level/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
Only students with the NYSC discharge, exemption or exclusion certificate can be cleared into the different courses.
Minimum of pass Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit.

Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate

Candidates seeking Admission to Samuel Adegboyega University’s Postgraduate Diploma or certificate must meet the following requirements;

Candidates seeking admission into Postgraduate Diploma Programmes (PGD), in addition to O’level requirements, must possess a minimum of Third Class in their First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in the relevant discipline and professional qualification from an accredited higher institution of learning.

Additionally,

PGD Business Administration: Relevant professional qualifications are acceptable.
PGD Economics: Relevant professional qualifications are acceptable.

Master’s Degree Programme

Candidates seeking Admission to Samuel Adegboyega University’s Master’s Degree programme must meet the following minimum requirements.

Candidates must possess at least a First Degree from Samuel Adegboyega University or any other recognised University by the Senate of Samuel Adegboyega University in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Second Class (lower division).
Candidates with a Third Class Bachelor’s Degree or HND who, in addition, possess a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 5.00 scale in the relevant discipline may be considered for a Master’s.

Additionally, Specific Departmental Waivers and considerations for;

MBA:
- PGD in the relevant area
- Professional qualifications in administration discipline are also acceptable (but such a candidate will go through a mandatory 9-month PGD programme).
M.A. Religious Studies:
- B.Th. or its equivalent from recognised institutions/seminars is acceptable for M.A. Religious Studies.
- PGD/PGDE Religious Studies or Religious Education or its equivalent from recognised institutions may be considered.

Doctoral Degree (PhD) Programme

Unfortunately, Samuel Adegboyega University currently does not offer a PhD programme at the moment.

SAU Part-Time Postgraduate Degree Eligibility

These are the minimum requirements for Admission into Samuel Adegboyega University’s Part-time postgraduate program.

All candidates must possess a minimum of five ordinary-level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
The same requirements from the above full-time PDG, Master’s and PhD programs apply here.
