Port Harcourt Polytechnic which is now known as Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic has made available application forms for admission into its School of Foundation and General Studies – Interim Joint Matriculation Examination Board (IJMB), A’Level and Remedial Programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

It should be noted that the closing date for the sales of the application for admission into the Port Harcourt Polytechnic IJMB, A’Level & Remedial Programmes for 2020/2021 Academic Session is scheduled for 31st of October, 2020.
To this end, the management of Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic (formerly known as Port Harcourt Polytechnic) is excited to use this medium to invite applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Port Harcourt Polytechnic IJMB, A’Level and Remedial Programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. These are the following programmes in it’s School of Foundation and General Studies:
- Interim Joint Matriculation Examination Board (IJMB) Programme
- University of Cambridge International GCE A’ Level Programme
- Remedial Programme
Eligibility Criteria for IJMB and A’Level Programmes
In order to gain entry into the Interim Joint Matriculation Examination Board and A’ level programmes, applicants must meet the criteria and requirements below:
- Applicants must possess five (5) Credit passes in a relevant subject at their GCE O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NABTEB or NTC or it’s equivalent with not more than two sittings which must include English Language and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects in Arts, or Sciences or Social Sciences which are relevant to their choice of discipline or area.

In order to gain admission into the Port Harcourt Polytechnic Remedial programmes for 2020/2021 academic session, applicants must meet the criteria and requirements below:
- Applicants must have taken examination at GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or WAEC or NECO or NABTAB or NTC or its equivalent and should be deficient in basic O’ Level Subjects.
How to Apply
Interested and suitably qualified candidates looking to gain admission into the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic (formerly known as Port Harcourt Polytechnic) IJMB, A’Level & Remedial Programmes for 2020/2021 Academic Session are to follow the steps below to apply for it’s admission form:
- Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the Port Harcourt Polytechnic official website at portharcourtpoly.edu.ng OR http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng
- The cost of the application form twelve thousand (12, 000.00) Naira only as all applicants are required to pay additional two thousand Five Hundred (2, 500.00) Naira only and three hundred (300.00) Naira only as portal and bank charges respectively
- Interested candidates are to apply online by logging into the Port Harcourt Polytechnic portal at http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng to make an e-payment. Note that e-payment can be made by applicants through generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceed to any of these designated Banks (First Bank, Fidelity Bank, FCMB, Sterling Bank, UBA, Union Bank and Zenith Bank) to pay, using the Pay Direct option or with an Interswitch enabled Verve or MasterCard debit card
- Completed online application forms must be printed and submitted to the Admissions Office with Confirmed Application Receipts as well as other supporting documents/credentials before the deadline date scheduled for 31st of October, 2020.
It should be noted that all applicants are required to submit their application receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.
