Brief Details About Osun State
Osun state was created by General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida on the 27th of August 1991 from Oyo state. the state is located in the south-western part of the country and bounded by Kwara state in the north, Oyo state in the west, Ekiti state and Ondo state in the east, and Ogun state in the south.
The state’s capital is Osogbo and the Yoruba is the major tribe in the state, its name was taken from the Osun river and it is well known for its love for agriculture and a lot more.
