PAAU Post-UTME Form for the 2024/2025 Session

Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba has opted for online screening for the 2024/2025 admission exercise to relieve prospective candidates/admission seekers of the financial burden and security risk of travelling for post-UTM.

General Provision

1. Registration and upload of O’level results for post-UTME/DE online screening for the 2024/2025 academic session begins on Monday, July 29th, and closes on Friday, August 30th, 2024. However, the upload of O’level results continues until 7th September 2024.

2. The application form cost is N2000 only.

3. The screening exercise for admission of candidates will be online and shall be administered only to candidates who applied or changed his/her course of study to Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, as an institution of First Choice. 4. Online screening relieves prospective candidates/admission seekers of the financial burden of travelling for PostUTME exam. 5. Online screening reduces the security risk associated with travelling for the PostUTME exam by prospective candidates/admission seekers.

6. Only candidates who scored 140 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the online screening exercise. The minimum JAMB Eligibility score for individual programmes is listed below.

7. Candidates will be screened based on their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and O’level results only.

8. Candidates must have sat for the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) subjects for their proposed courses of study (correct subject combinations).

9. Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’level credit passes in the relevant subjects in accordance with the University’s entry requirements.

10. The subjects taken at the level must be conventional subjects: Arts(History/Govt, CRS/IRK, English Language, Literature in English), Sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Biology. Chemistry, Further Mathematics) or Social Sciences (Economics, Geography), Economics and Mathematics are mandatory for candidates for Management Sciences.

11. It is important that candidates upload their O’level results on JAMB CAPS, as the screening and admission depend on the uploading of O’level on JAMB CAPS. This should be promptly done to facilitate admission.

12. Candidates who are awaiting their O’level results may apply but should indicate so. However, such candidates should immediately upload their O’level results as soon as they are released.

13. Any candidate discovered to have been involved in any form of admission irregularities, such as double admission, will be denied admission into the Institution. Should such a candidate be admitted, such admission will be withdrawn whenever such irregularity is brought to the attention of the Institution.

The screening exercise

1. Candidates are expected to apply online at https://portal.paau.edu.ng/ and make payments with ATM debit cards. This can be done anywhere.

2. All such candidates must fill in relevant certificates (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB, etc.) stating the correct examination number, date, type and scratch card PIN.

3. Candidates should preview and confirm that all the information entered is correct before submission.

4. All Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, as an institution of First Choice, are also required to complete the online application form for their screening exercise. The minimum entry grade is an Upper Credit for Diplomas.

5. Candidates must upload their O-level results, as no admission will be offered without uploading O-level results on JAMB CAPS. This should be done promptly to facilitate admission.

6. The screening exercise will commence immediately after the closure of online registration. Thereafter, results will be communicated to candidates. While registration closes on Friday, August 30th, 2024, upload of O’level results continues until 7 September 2024.

7. Candidates are expected to monitor their status on JAMB CAPS.
