The management of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) has announced the availability of the School of Community Health Officers’ (CHO) Training Programme Form for 2021/2022 Academic Session. Details about the training programme form are given below.
OAUTHC 2021/2022 CHO Training Programme Form
Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Community Health Officers’ Training Programme for the 2021/2022academic session at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife.
The training which lasts for two Calender years will commence in September 2021, leading to the award of Higher Diploma in Community Health.
Entry Requirements
– EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
West African School Certificate/GCE “0” level. Or Senior Secondary School Certificate (NECO) with five credits passes at not more than two sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics
– PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
In addition to qualification in (a) above, candidates must possess any of the following Professional Qualification and experience for eligibility to apply.
- Diploma in Community Health with not less than two years post qualification experience.
- Community Health Extension Worker Certificate with 5 years’ experience.
- Applicant must be Registered with the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a current practicing license.
Written Test and Oral Interview
Selection for admission will be based on candidates’ performance at a competitive written test and oral interview to be conducted on Monday, 12th and Tuesday, 13th July, 2021 respectively.
Candidates are to bring their original certificates and practicing licenses to the examination centre.
How to Apply
Application forms are obtainable from the Community Health Officers’ Programme, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife at a cost of Ten Hundred Naira (N10,000.00) only, after payment into OAUTHC’S TSA Recurrent Account via REMITA PLATFORM through any commercial bank of your choice and indicate the purpose of payment as “Admission Form into CHO Training Programmes.”
Thereafter, the evidence of payment should be brought to the school to collect admission form
Application Deadline
Completed application forms duly endorsed by sponsors, together with photocopies of relevant credentials should be forwarded to the Community Health Officers’ Training Programme, Obafemi Awolowo University Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife not later than Friday, 2nd July 2021.
