NECO 2023 Syllabus for Woodwork

The NECO Syllabus for Woodwork is meant for students that would be taking this subject in their upcoming examination. In this document, you would find topics that you need to cover and there are objectives in them.

Note: The National Examination Council (NECO) did not release any official document for the upcoming examination. But you can use the one of WAEC to study for your examination. This is because NECO and WAEC use the normal Nigerian Secondary School Syllabus to set their questions.

There will be three papers, Papers 1, 2 and 3 all of which must be taken. Papers 1 and 2 will be composite paper to be taken in one sitting. The list below contains the papers you need

  • PAPER 1: Will consist of forty multiple-choice objective questions all of which must be answered within 40 minutes for 40 marks.
  • PAPER 2: Will consist of theory and design paper of two sections, Sections A and B, to be taken within 2 hours, 20 minutes.
  • PAPER 3: This Will be a practical test lasting 3 hours. Candidates will be required to make a test piece for which the appropriate drawings will be supplied. It will carry 100 marks.
