NECO 2023 Syllabus for Carpentry and Joinery
NECO Syllabus for Carpentry and Joinery would aid students that would be taking this subject in the examination. You would need to prepare for your exam using this document as it would guide you. You just have to study the topics in them alongside meeting the objectives.
Note: NECO (National Examination Council) did not release any official syllabus for the examination. But students can use the one of WAEC to prepare for their exams. However, this is because both NECO and WAEC use the Nigerian Secondary School Syllabus to set their question.
There will be three papers and papers one and two shall be composite papers to be taken in one sitting. The list below contains the papers
- Paper 1: will consist of forty multiple-choice objective questions all of which are to be answered in 45 minutes for 40 marks.
- Paper 2: will consist of two sections, Sections A and B to be answered in 1 hour 30 minutes for 60 marks.
Section A: will consist of five short-structured questions all of which are to be answered in 30 minutes for 20 marks.
Section B: will consist of three questions. Candidates are to answer any two in 1 hour for 40 marks.
- Paper 3: will be a practical test of 2-hour duration. It will consist of two questions out of which the candidate can choose to answer one for 100 marks.
A list of materials for the test shall be made available to schools not less than two weeks. moreover, this is before the paper is taken for material procurement and relevant preparations.
