About the NDU Basic Studies Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

Niger Delta University (NDU), Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State Authority is now inviting applications from all interested candidates looking forward to applying for the admission into basic studies for the academic session of 2020/2021.

The Niger Delta University one-year programme was created basically to improve the performance of secondary school leavers in the UTME and other equivalent examinations. Candidates should not that preference would be offered to candidates of the programme during the process of the University admission.

NDU Basic Studies Admission Requirements & Duration

To be eligible for the NDU Basic Studies Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session, interested candidates are expected to meet the eligibility requirement stated below:

  • The Applicants are expected to be in possession of five relevant O’level credits to the course of study that was proposed including the English Language.
  • Candidates that are waiting for their result (WAEC and NECO) to be released can apply for the admission, as well as those that attempted and ate preparing to sit for their exams again. The admission to degree programmes in the university depends on the candidate’s performance in the recent JAMB

How to Apply

The steps to follow or the registration is stated below:

  1. First, visit any Access/Diamond Bank Branch in Nigeria.
  2. Then make a payment of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only to this account number 0016405919 and then acquire a teller-duplicate. Other charges such as bank charges would not be Subsidize by the university.
  3. The go-to the School of Pre-degree and Basic Studies, ICT Building at the New site and acquire the admission application form at the Basic Studies Unit for more processes.
