We wish to inform all concerned about the Mountain Top University in short “MTU” Notice to Students on Resumption Date and commencement of Online Lectures Updates. Details about the resumption date are given below.
This is to inform 300-500 level students and their parents/guardians that their resumption to the campus which was initially scheduled for Thursday, 21st January 2021 has been rescheduled for Saturday, 23rd- Sunday 24th, January 2021.
Any student who due to the initial schedule has completed the traveling arrangement and would found it challenging to cancel such traveling arrangement should bring it to the attention of the Ag. Dean, Students’ Affairs for further directives.

About the MTU Resumption Date Notice and Online Lectures Updates
In line with the directives of the Presidential Task Force (PTF on COVID 19, the National Universities Commission (NUC) mandated that all universities suspend physical academic activities that involve large crowds.
The Universities in contrast remain closed pending further directives from the Federal Government in regards to the reopening of schools. Effective from 23rd December, the directive will last for a period of five weeks. As a consequence of this information, the resumption of Mountain Top University students on campus which has been scheduled for 3rd January 2021 has been suspended.
Students of 200 to 500 level will however continue online lectures until further notice. All 100 level and Direct Entry students have been directed by the management to note that online lectures will on Monday 4th January 2021.
Students whom the above information concerns are required to take note and make adequate preparations for the lectures. The management advises students who have not yet completed their registration for the 2020/2021 academic session to immediately do so. It is important to note that attendance at online lectures is mandatory.
