Eligibility Requirements for the Scholarship 

All Applicants for the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students 2021 must ensure the following criteria are in order to ensure their applications will be considered for the scholarship:

  • The award is targeted at qualified 200 level blind students studying any course in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).
  • All applicants from universities and colleges of education must have a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) score of 3.5 or its equivalent (2:1), while all applicants from a public polytechnic must possess a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0( upper credit) and evidence of admission for the HND or Directors Entry program
  • The present beneficiaries of other scholarship awards are not eligible to apply for the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students 2021.
