The MOUAU Postgraduate Admission Form for 2019/2020 Academic Session has been announced, and all interested candidates can now purchase the form. Expect the courses, requirements, and how to apply below.
Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) is now inviting applications from all suitably qualified candidates for admission into the postgraduate programmes for the academic session of 2019/2020.
MOUAU postgraduate application would close starting from January 15, 2021. All the interested candidates that are yet to register or complete their registration are expected to make use of this opportunity in other to do so.
Postgraduate Admission Entry Requirements
In other for a candidate to be eligible for admission into the postgraduate programme of the institution, candidates are expected to be in possession of FIVE O’LEVEL CREDIT passes in ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, and three other subjects that is relevant at a maximum of two sittings.
MASTER’S (M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Eng.).
In other to be eligible for admission into the Master’s degree programme, interested candidates are expected to:
- Must be a graduate of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, or any institution that is recognized by the university’s senate and should have acquired at least a first degree with at least second class honors (3.00 and above on a 5-point scale and 2.50 on a 4-point scale).
- Candidates in possession of a higher national diploma (HND), with a minimum of upper credit and a postgraduate diploma in a field that is recognized by a recognized institution and
- Who is in possession of any other certificate or qualification that may be acceptable by the senate?
DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY DEGREE (PhD.)
In other to be eligible for admission into the doctor of a philosophy degree programme, candidates are expected to have acquired a Master’s degree which includes course work and research from the Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, or an equivalent from an institution that is recognized by the senate in disciplines that are relevant. With a cumulative Grade point Average (CGPA) of a minimum of 4.00 (5-point scale) 3.00 (4-point scale) or 60% on a percentage scale.

All the interested candidates are expected to have acquired the application forms online by going to www.mouau.edu.ng and then click on the Postgraduate application button. This would take you to a 2-stage application process. All the candidates are expected to read the guidelines described carefully and then follow the available process in other to finish the application. An application fee of about eighteen thousand nairas (N18,000.00) would be paid to the university via the Remita platform ww.remita.net as described in the guideline. Once the payment has been made successfully, candidates are expected to go back to the portal using the URL www.mouauportal.edu.ng in other to complete stage 2 of the process for the application.
Once the online form has been submitted, candidates are expected to print out the Transcript Application Label that would be displayed and forwarded same to the institution from where their qualifying degree(s) was earned. The completed application forms and all relevant documents is to be closed in the PG file acquired from PG Room F2 and returned to:

Candidates are expected to forward the academic transcripts from the qualifying institutions to the same address before the date of closing. Students are expected to note that any candidate that is without a transcript is not received and would not be placed under consideration for admission.
The Closing date for the receipt of the completed application form and the 2019/2020 transcript for the 2019/2020 admission exercise would hold for a duration of 4 weeks from the date of the publication.
Admission screening Test: candidates that are applying to the university for PG programmes in the academic session of 2019/2020 are to be informed that the PG admission screening test in the CBT model has been scheduled to hold at the university E-Test center.
