Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA)
NDA is the first and most popular military school in Nigeria. The institution was established in November 1964 and it was a reformation of the British-run Royal Military Forces Training College (RMFTC). The university is known to have trained plenty of officer corps of the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force. It started with undergraduate programmes to officers in training until 1985 but it was established in 1964.
Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB)
This university was established in 2018 which makes it the most recently established university in Nigeria. The aim of the university is to strengthen the Nigerian Army and Nigeria itself through sound and innovative technological use.
