Entry Requirements

To gain admission to Margaret Lawrence University, candidates must meet both general and specific programme requirements.

General Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes

  • Age: Applicants must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
  • JAMB Cut-off Mark: Applicants must meet the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) cut-off mark.
  • O’Level Results: Applicants must have five (5) credits at SSCE/GCE O’Level/NABTEB (or equivalent) in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at no more than two sittings.
  • Flexibility: Candidates who did not initially choose MLU in the current UTME year are also eligible to apply.
  • Post-UTME Screening: All applicants must participate in the MLU Post-UTME Screening Exercise.
