2019/2020 LASU Matriculation Ceremony Details

As the Matriculation date was announced, the management of Lagos State University also announced several guidelines about the matriculation gown that is to be followed by all matriculating students of the institution. Written below is the matriculation details:

Date: Wednesday 14th October 2020.

Time: 10:00am

Matriculation ground/venue: The University Auditorium Complex, Ojo.

LASU Matriculation Gown Payment and Collection Procedures

The university management gave out guidelines that will be followed as matriculating students will be making payment for the gowns and collecting them as well.

  • Matriculating students are required to make payment of the sum of Five Thousand Naira (N500.00) only for the matriculation gown. The payment is to be paid into Sterling Bank Third-Party Account 0006594081 (LASU Branch). Students can also pay into UBA LASU Revenue Account
  • Upon successful payment, students are to use the bank teller to obtain an official receipt at the Bursary Department. Afterward, students are to present the receipt to enable them to collect the Matriculation Gown at their respective faculty Office.
  • On the day of the Matriculation ceremony, students should make sure that the matriculation gown is returned to the point of collection not later than 4.00 pm. Any student who fails to attract the matriculation gown as stated above shall attract a fine of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) per day to his/herself.
  • Matriculating students are required by the school authority to make sure that the entertainment of guests is done at the Matriculation ground. No student, should on any account entertain his/her guests in any of the faculty.

Note: Any student who fails to comply with the above directive may stand at the risk of forfeiting his/her provisional admission.
