The management of Kings University has released a press announcing that they have secured the NUC’s Approval for Four New Academic Programmes. All staff & students of the above-named institution are to take note of the details of the press released by the institution below.
Kings University NUC’s Approval for Academic Programmes
Kings University has secured the approval of the National Universities Commission to commence four (4) new academic programmes effective from the 2020/2021 academic session, This followed the successful resource verification visit of the Commission to the University in December 2020.
In a letter signed by the Director, Academic Planning. Dr. N.B Saliu on behalf of the NUC Executive Secretary, the approved programmes are as follows
- Mass Communication
- Criminology and Security Studies
- Entrepreneurship, and
- Cybersecurity
Speaking on the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adenike Kuku expressed her delight with the approval granted for all the four programmes presented as it is a demonstration of the University’s expansion drive as well as compliance to the NUC regulatory processes.
