1. Location

The Botlere people are located in the northern part of Nigeria in Adamawa state. Due to its unpopularity, they can be found in very few areas of the state.

2. Local Government Areas

Adamawa state has 21 Local Government areas (LGA). Demsa, Muchika, Mubi North, Madagali, Jada, Maiha, Toungo, Fufore, Ganye, Gombi, and Guyuk amongst others are some of the local government areas in Adamawa state.

3. Festivals

There are up to 32 festivals that happen in Adamawa state every year. And the one that everybody including the Botlere people takes part in is the three-day Zhita in Bazza as well as Dukwa and Yawal in Madagali.
