Details About the Igbinedion University Okada Resumption Date Guidelines for the New Year 2021
The management of Igbinedion University, Okada in line with the directive of the Federal Government through the National Universities Commission wishes to inform all students that resumption of academic activities for the New Year is 18th January 2021 instead of the earlier 4th of January 2021 as communicated.
This delay in resumption is a part of the measure of the Federal Government to mitigate the second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic in the country. Online teaching will however commence on the 4th of January 2021 via the OLMS platform in trying to keep with the University’s policy of maintaining the sanctity of its academic calendar.
On a date to be communicated later by the university management, the computer-based Continuous Assessment Test will also be conducted. Registration for fresh students continues online which will include Issuance of matriculation number and Institutional email. Fresh students have also been directed to hook on to the OLMS platform for virtual lectures.
For further details on the OLMS engagement, students are required to log on to olms.luokada.edu.ng using their Institutional email.
