This is to inform the general public that the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in short “IAUE” has canceled some upcoming Examinations due to leakage of questions. Details about the issue are given below.
Reason Why IAUE Cancels Examinations Over Leakage
At its resumed sitting of Wednesday, 9th December 2020, the management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) considered the reports of the different committee that investigated the alleged leakage of the examinations which were held on November 5th, 2020 and November 6th, 2020 respectively.
From their investigation, the committee confirmed the leakage of the examination and a separate recommendation that the examination written in two courses be canceled. There was a deliberation of the committee’s recommendation by the Senate and the cancellation was approved. And as such, there has been a cancellation of the examinations in the two-course, EDU411 and EDU413.
On Monday 21st December 2020, the examination on EDU411 will be taken while the EDU413 examination will be taken on Tuesday 22nd December 2020. The exams will be taken manually. There will be a convey of final year students of the Ndele campus to the Main campus to write the examination.
The examinations are to be marked by conference mode as directed by the senate. All scores will be submitted to the Registrar two days after the examinations. Students who however wrote the examination online during the lockdown are exempted from rewriting except they wish to rewrite it.
