About the HUKPOLY Pre-NCE Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session
Suitably qualified candidates are hereby invited to take part in the HUKPOLY Pre-NCE Admission Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. The Pre-NCE programme spans for a period of one (1) year and as we proceed, we shall be discussing the objective of the Pre-NCE programme in Hassan Usman Katsina, Polytechnic.
Eligibility Requirements
For candidates to apply for the HUKPOLY Pre-NCE Admission Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session, they are required to satisfy the basic admission requirements of the Polytechnic and they include meeting up with at least one of the following:
- A minimum of five (5) Passes in SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE at not more than two sittings which must include Mathematics and English Language with any three (3) other subjects that apply in the candidates’ field.
- A complete TC II Certificate with a minimum of five (5) passes which are to include Mathematics and English Language, with any three science-related subjects.
- Federal craft Certificate with a minimum of five (5) passes to include Mathematics, English Language, and any other (3) related Science subjects.
How to Apply
Candidates who satisfied the eligibility requirements stated above can now proceed to apply for the HUKPOLY Pre-NCE Admission Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session. All applicants are to pay the sum Two Thousand Naira (#2, 000.00) only for screening, after which they will be redirected to a page where they are to fill out their profile, print, and submit a copy of the fully completed form to the Academic Office. Applicants will also have to pay the sum of One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (#1, 500.00) only for verification.
All payments are to be made through the payment options provided at the HUKPOLY ACADEMIC PORTAL. Take note that the Polytechnic does not accept cash payment.

The Pre-NCE programme was introduced some years ago to tackle the issue of low admission intake of students into some faculties such as Sciences, Technical, Languages as well as Vocational. At a certain point, people began to embrace the idea of the Pre-NCE programme and it became one of the critical ways of admitting students into the institution not just for the programmes mentioned above, but also to other programmes in the institution.
