The HUKPOLY Post UTME Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session is out and available to interested candidates. This is to inform members of the general public that the post UTME screening and verification exercise into the full-time ND and NCE programmes of Hassan Usman Kastina Polytechnic for the 2020/2021 academic session which will commence on Monday 28th September 2020.

About the HUKPOLY Post UTME Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

All candidates are to pay the sum of two thousand nairas only for screening after whether you will be prompted to fill a profile page print and submit a copy to the academic office, you are to pay the sum of one thousand nairas only for verification.

Admission Requirements

The programmes for the  HUKPOLY Post UTME Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session as follows;

– HND Requirements

Candidates must meet all the requirements for admission into the relevant national diploma programme.

  • Minimum of a lower credit pass in the National examination relevant to the page
  • A minimum of one-year cognate working experience

All candidates applying for HND should notify their former institution to forward their academic transcripts to the academic secretary.

– ND Requirements for the Nigeria Certificate Education NCE Technical Programmes

  • Interested Candidates for ND and NCE Technical programmes must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 120 points in the 2020 Joint admission and matriculation jamb unified tertiary matriculation examination and selected Hassan Kastina Polytechnic as the first choice of admission
  • Candidates must obtain results five credits relevant to the programme including English language and mathematics SSCE or GCE or NABTEB at not more than two sittings
  • Five credits passes including English and the Mathematics in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of an NBTE recognized preliminary ND or pre NCE Technical programmes offered in the Polytechnic or a similar post-secondary technical institution

– Diploma programme

  • GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO ordinary level or equivalent with 3 credit passes in Economics, business methods, principles of accounts, literature in English, commerce, history, geography, government, agricultural science, biology plus in English and Mathematics obtained at more than two sitting.
  • In line with the Polytechnic regulations candidates who have success who have successfully completed the programme and have also obtained qualification for admission into the ND programmes by direct entry be given advanced clients or admitted into National diploma direct also obtainable in Kaduna Polytechnic

– Diploma Social Development

  • Grade 2 certificate of SSCE with at least 4 credits in English and any other subject from government, history, economics and integrated science
  • Holders of intermediate certificates in commerce development and adult education and social development
  • 3 credits with passes in relevant subjects plus at least 2 years working experience
  • Any other relevant qualification according to acceptable to the Polytechnic

– Diploma Environmental Health Technology

  • GCE/SSCE/NABTEB/NECO ordinary Level or equivalent teachers grade 2 five credits in English, mathematics, chemistry, physics, geography, biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

– Pre NCE Technical Programme

  • At least 5 SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB O level passes at a sitting or pass at 2 sitting in English, mathematics and 3 other technology or applied science subjects
  • City and Guild with a background in mathematics, English, Physical Sciences and Technical drawing
  • Federal craft certificate with at least passes in 5 academic subject including English, mathematics and other science-related subjects
  • Complete teachers grade 2 certificates with at least 5 passes in English, mathematics and other science-related subjects

– Certificate in science laboratory technician programme

  • Two passes in any pure science subjects at SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB O level
  • A pass in  any pure or applied science subjects at SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB ordinary level plus a minimum of three years working experience in a laboratory

Elementary Mechanical Automatic Technicians Certificate, block laying and concreting and elementary, electrical installations, costing and contract programmes

  • Elementary EATC/EMTC obtained at credit level or pass level with at least a year working experience
  • City and guild part 1 or trade test in relevant Field with evidence of technical or vocational training
  • Four passes in relevant subjects in WASCE, SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB Ordinary level in not more than 2 sittings.

– Certificate in agricultural technology

  • Minimum of 3 passes in NECO, SSCE, GCE, NABTEB ordinary level or their equivalent two of which must be in a science subject.

– Certificate in Catery and Hotel Management

Attempted SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB ordinary level or the equivalent two of which must be science subjects.

– Advanced certificate in Catering and hotel management

Holders of certificate in catering and holder’s management or its equivalent from any recognized institutions

– Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics

  • Attempted SSCE, GCE, NECO, and NABTEB ordinary level or their equivalent with at least a pass in relevant subjects.

– Assistant library office’s Certificate SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB at least three Passes

  • A certificate with library assistant certificate
  • Library assistant with at least 2 years working experience

All candidates should submit hard copies of their duly completed application form and other credentials to the academic division of the Polytechnic for screening and verification accordingly.

Candidate awaiting O’level results can apply and upload the results but they should note that no candidate would be given admission prior the result uploaded at their jamb profile.
