Gani Fawehinmi Annual Scholarship Awards 2019 for Poor Students in Tertiary Institutions

Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Board is currently accepting applications from bona-fide poor students of tertiary institutions – Universities and Polytechnics in Nigeria for the 2019 edition of its Annual Scholarship Awards. Deadline for submission is 20th August, 2019.

You are hereby invited to Apply for the 2019 Gani Fewehinmi Annual Scholarship Awards if you are a student of a tertiary institutio in Nigeria.

Every year, the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Board announces Scholarships for nigerian students in Nigerian tertiary institutions. This year’s award is for 30 students who will receiver ONe hundred and fifty thousand Naira (₦150,000.00) for their education.

Am I Eligible For Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship? What are the Requirements?

• You must be poor and indigent

• To be eligible, you must also be a registered bona-fide student of a tertiary institution in Nigeria. 

• You must have a good academic performance.

• If you have benefited from the scholarship before, then you are no longer eligible.

How would the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship be disbursed? How will I get paid?

• If you are selected, you will be awarded the scholarship on Thursday September 12, 2019 at  Nigerian Law Publication House, Otunba Jobi-Fele Way, C.B.D, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos at 12:00 noon.

When & Where is the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Interview?

• Port-Harcourt :

  • If you are apply successfully, you will be interviewed on Wednesday, August, 21st, 2019 at ASUU Secretariat, University of Port-Harcourt at 10 a.m

• Nasarawa:

  • If you apply successfully and you live around this region, you will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 at ASUU Secretariat, Nasarawa State University, Nasarawa at 10 a.m.

• Lagos:

  • If you apply successfully and you live around Lagos, you will be interviewed on Tuesday, September 10th at Nigerian Law Publication House, Otunba Jobe-Fele way, C.B.D, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos at 10 a.m

How to Apply For Gani Fawhinmi Scholarship?

If you are interested and qualified to the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship, then follow the instructions below:

• Submit an Application Letter of not more than two (2) pages.

• The letter should contain the following:

  • Your Full Name

  • Your Course & Year of Study.

  • Your State of Origin

  • Why you believe you should be given the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Award

• Alongside the Application Letter, you are the Submit the Following:

  • A photocopy of your current ID Card.

  • A letter from your current Head of Department, including you correct CGPA for the last academic session.

  • A letter from you School Registrar Certifying that you are a bona-fide student of the institution.

  • A copy of your course registration from for the current semester.
