About the FUTO Non-Teaching Staff Resumption Date
A directive has been issued by the management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) to all non-teaching staff of the University to resume their duties with immediate effect. In accordance with the Federal Government’s directive through the Head of Service of the Federation, all non-teaching staff is to resume duty on 3rd December 2020.
Before now, the Registrar had requested all the affected workers to resume their respective duties after the break embarked upon owing to the emergence of the COVID 19 pandemic. Although it was scheduled that they will be working on the basis of rotational attendance.
The memo still reminds the staff that all COVID 19 guidelines as stipulated by the NCDC are still very valid and effective.
