About the FUTMINNA Open Distance and e-Learning Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session
The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) is now inviting applications from all interested candidates for admission into the center for Open Distance and e-Learning (CODeL), which would further lead to the award of the degree of B.Tech. Computer Science and approved by the National Universities.
Advantages of the Programme
- School fees Payment: candidates would be awarded the special concession to pay the tuition fees in installments.
- Award of Degree Certificate: the same certificates acquired by students in the face-to-face lectures would be awarded.
- Stable Academic Calendar: The Academic Calendar of the programme would not be affected by industrial action (strike), lockdown occasioned by the outbreak of a covid-19 pandemic, etc.
FUTMINNA Open Distance and e-Learning Admission Requirements & Duration
Entry Requirements:
In other to be eligible for the admission, an interested candidate is expected to be in possession of at least five (5) ‘O’ Level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or geography in NECO, WAEC, NABTEB, or an equivalent examination at a maximum of two sittings. Plus, direct entry candidates are expected to be in possession of a minimum of lower credit in computer science/Engineering at national Diploma (ND) or Credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at HSC/GCE-A Level/IJMB.
Duration of the Programme
The programmes have been scheduled to last for a period of 5 years (10 semesters) and a maximum of 10 years (20 Semesters) for UTME candidates.
How to Apply
Interested candidates is expected to visit www.codel.futminna.edu.ng in other to obtain the instructions for the purchase and completion of the online application form. They are expected to pay a non-refundable application fee of about N5,000 only for candidates applying within Nigeria and US$15 for those that are Outside Nigeria, Payable into the account of the university via MasterCard.
