The Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun in short “FUPRE” Post UTME Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session is out and is looking forward to applications from interested candidates.

Latest Update

Following the directive from JAMB that all tertiary institutions yet to conduct the 2020/2021 Post UTME screening exercise should not do so until the conclusion of the ongoing 2020 NECO SSCE Examination. Due to this, the Management of FUPRE postponed its upcoming Post UTME Screening Exercise.

With this in place, the Post UTME screening exercise initially scheduled to hold from Monday, 23rd November to Friday 4th December 2020, will now hold from Monday, 30th November to Friday 11th December 2020, at 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. daily.

The Post UTME form acquirement and registration which started on Wednesday 12th August 2020, is now to end on Wednesday 25th November 2020 to allow candidates more time to register.

Lastly, candidates who have already been assigned dates from 23rd to 27th November 2020 are to reprint their confirmation page to check their new examination date, while candidates whose dates fall between 30th November to 4th December 2020 are to retain and use the dates already assigned to them.

About the 2020/2021 FUPRE Post UTME Form

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, FUPRE post UTME screening application form for admission into all courses/programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session is now available on sale. Below are details on the requirements and how to apply for FUPRE Post UTME form below.

Candidates Eligible for FUPRE Post UTME

To be eligible for the FUPRE Post UTME Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session, all interested candidates are expected to meet the eligibility criteria stated below. They include:

• All interested candidates who made the Federal University of petroleum resources Effurun their choice in the 2020 Unified Tertiary matriculation Examination (UTME). And has a total score of about 180 and above are eligible to partake in FUPRE Post UTME screening Exercise.
  • All College of Engineering Programmes – 200 and above
  • All College of Science programmes – 180 and above
• All interested candidates who are in possession of five o’ level credits at one or two sittings (including English Language and Mathematics) or, are awaiting results which would be released before the completion of the admission exercise are eligible to apply for the post UTME.
• All interested candidates awaiting their result are free to apply only if their result would be released before the completion of the admission exercise is free to register.

Note:

All candidates who do not have up to the required minimum UTME cut-off mark for the course of their desire are advised to request for a change of course by visiting the Jamb website to any other course that accepts a lower UTME score.

All candidates applying for a change, of course, must do that before the registration of the Post UTME, to be eligible for admission. Affected candidates are required to register for and write their post UTME under the new course.

While the application for a change, of course, is on, candidates should make sure that they are in possession of the necessary UTME and WEAC subject combination that is required to fit into the new programme. The candidates are expected to visit the website university to view their requirement for admission.

How to Apply

The registration screening is starting on Wednesday 12^th August 2020 and would be ending on Wednesday 18^th November 2020.

• Candidates are expected to pay a non-refundable fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000) only as a screening fee.
• The applicant is expected to visit this link. For their registration.

Steps to Applying

All candidates are expected to:

• Ensure that the online form is filled carefully. All necessary instructions, Deliberate disregard of instructions, purported mistake(s)/wrong entries will be disqualified.
• They are expected to make use of a PASSWORD that they can easily remember to enable them to access their result and confirm their admission status subsequently.
• Make use of an email that is functional and a mobile number in other for the university to contact them in the course of the Admission Exercise, whenever they need to.
• Preview their online form that has been completed and go through it to be sure all the information in the form is correct. After which they can click the ‘SUBMIT’ icon and print out their registration confirmation page.
• They would no longer be able to edit the provided information once they have submitted.

Initially, the FUPRE POST UTME Screening exercise was supposed to be held from “Monday 14^th to Friday 25^th September 2020”, but has been postponed. Now, the exercise would be taking place from Monday, 23^rd November to Friday 4^th December 2020. The exercise would be occurring between the hours of 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. daily.
