About the 2019/2020 FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Admission Form

The management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta is using this medium to invite application from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the various Part-Time Degree Programmes offered by the institution.

FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Admission Entry Requirements

Prospective candidates are expected to meet certain eligibility requirements as stated by the management of FUNAAB in order to be considered for admission. Written below are the eligibility requirements:

  • A minimum entry requirement of five O’ level credit passes in the following subjects; Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB must be met by the applicant.
  • Applicants who wish to apply for Water Resources Management and Agrometeorology are required to have a credit in Geography.
  • Applicants who were able to score 180 and 200 for Agricultural Sciences and Sciences respectively in UTME can also apply.
  • Candidates who hold OND and HND certificates from recognized institutions by the university with good grades in related courses are eligible to apply.

Candidates who hold OND and HND should make sure that they forward their academic transcripts to the Coordinator, PartTime Degree Programme (FUNAAB) not later than March 4th, 2020.

FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Nature of Programme

The Part-Time Degree Programme is a non-residential programme. Students of this programme will receive lectures on weekends at the main campus of the university. The programme will last for six(6) sessions, however, for Natural Sciences, the session will last for five(5) sessions.

Method of Application for FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Admission

Candidates that are interested in acquiring the FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Admission Form should follow these steps to apply:

  • Access the website of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta via unaab.edu.ng, and click on Part-Time Degree Portal. Or candidates can log on to portal.unaab.edu.ng/pt  to generate and print their application invoices. The application invoices state the payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) only, the payment excludes bank charges. The invoice also contains reference numbers and other information.
  • To make the payment, candidates are to proceed to any of the banks (nationwide) listed on the print-out of the invoice and make the payment making use of the reference number on the invoice.
  • Upon successful payment at the designated bank(s), candidates should proceed to the FUNAAB Part-Time Degree Programmes portal to complete processing the application form. Or candidates can log on to https://portal.unaab.edu.ng/pt/.
  • The management will only consider completed application forms for admission.
  • After submission of application, no complaint of wrong Bio-data, O’ level results, OND/HND results or blank photograph would be entertained.

Note: The management of the institution will communicate the screening dates to all applicants, applicants who applied via Direct Entry are exempted from the screening. Candidates are to ensure they check the FUNAAB Part-Time admission portal to verify the screening date and the screening venue.
